Philae (Fila) Temple

Philae Temple has been moved by the UNESCO organization from its first place under water to the highest island in the lake. The temple was cut into 450,000 pieces and assembled again by professionals team. The entrance to the temple is shown in the picture to the right......

To do such a process the UNESCO asked for some parts of the temple as a payment for the operation and that is why there are some holes in the building if u notice that on wall.

All parties and public announcements are held in this part of the temple which is located just outside  before the entrance gate.

One-thing that the king used to do to determine taxes on the public is by looking into this hole and judge if the water level is high that means there will be a lot of production as a result the tax rises and the other way around .... a good system.
